For over 19 years, I’ve worked as an organizational consultant helping professionals develop an approach to leadership that aligns with their values and goals. So much of what we learn about leadership is one-size-fits-all, yet every leader I work with has unique needs. My methodology takes into account your real-time challenges as well as the distinct culture of your organization. My clients report that my approach is effective: They achieve growth in their roles, get chosen for new opportunities, and feel fulfilled by their work.

There are people in this world who inspire us to do more, to be better, to reach higher. For me Lisa Graham is one of those people.

Human at Work

The Human At Work philosophy shapes everything I do at Lisa Graham & Associates. Authenticity is the essential foundation of good leadership. What makes us human – empathy, connection, our drive to accomplish something meaningful, our courage to innovate and capacity to learn from our mistakes – is also what makes us successful at work and in life. Understanding yourself and making decisions that are aligned with your core beliefs and values makes you more effective as an employee, a leader… and a human.

ABout Dr. Graham

I earned a B.A. from Emory University, a M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee, and a Ph.D. in Leadership and Change from Antioch University.
I am originally from Amarillo, Texas but now live in Birmingham, Alabama with my husband and two children.(I’m destined to live as a vegetarian surrounded by the world’s best BBQ.)
When not working or enjoying time with friends and family, I am active in community non-profit organizations. I currently facilitate a local Women’s Leadership Initiative in Birmingham.

Lisa effectively guides the implementation of practical solutions and prompts the frank communication necessary to unify and focus senior
management teams.

Improving leadership effectiveness is all about behavior change

Most of my clients arrive at their first appointment with leadership experience and many ideas about how they could be better leaders. But knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things. If you can’t make the changes necessary to become more effective as a leader, you’re stuck. One advantage of working with a coach who is also an organizational psychologist is my expertise in how to make (and sustain) significant changes.

Lisa has a skill set that is, I believe,
second-to-none in her profession.
